La natura non solo come contorno scenografico, ma come patrimonio da salvaguardare e valorizzare in quanto fonte di benessere e qualità della vita. Questa la filosofia aziendale che presiede la gestione del Complesso agrituristico Le Sorgive-Le Volpi, che non soltanto si avvale della certificazione di Azienda Agricola Biologica, ma è all'avanguardia per una serie di iniziative volte a ridurre l'impatto ambientale.

Fra queste, l'attivazione alle Sorgive di una centrale termica di costruzione austriaca che brucia biomassa vegetale, cioè scarti e residui del legno, per il riscaldamento dell'acqua sanitaria e degli ambienti. Grazie a questo impianto, riconosciuto dalla Regione Lombardia come un vero prototipo, non vengono emessi in atmosfera gas tossici e non si incrementa l'effetto serra.

Un'altra soluzione pensata e voluta dal titolare delle Sorgive Vittorio Serenelli per ridurre l'impatto ambientale della struttura è l'impianto di fitodepurazione delle acque nere e bianche, che consente di ricavare acqua idonea all'irrigazione dei campi grazie all'azione filtrante svolta da particolari piante, che trattengono e utilizzano tutte le sostanze organiche e chimiche. Così l'impatto ambientale prodotto dalla presenza degli ospiti nell'agriturismo non grava sulle falde.

This is the philosophy behind the management of the Holiday Farm complex "Le Sorgive - Le Volpi", which not only has certification for its Biological Production, but is also way ahead in terms of the various initiatives aimed at reducing impact on the environment.

Among these initiatives is the installation in the Sorgive of an Austrian built heating station that burns vegetable biomasses, i.e. waste and residual material from wood, which is used for heating the water and the rooms. Thanks to this system, which is a real forerunner in its field, no toxic gases are given off into the atmosphere and the greenhouse effect is not increased in any manner.

Another initiative installed by the owner of the Sorgive, Vittorio Serenelli, to reduce the environmental impact of the structure is the phytopurification system for both sewerage and drinking water, which obtains water for irrigating the fields thanks to the filtering action carried out by various plants, which trap and use all the organic and chemical substances in the water. Therefore any effects caused by the presence of the guests in the Holiday Farm have no effect on the water tables.
